**As of March 06, 2025, the project was awarded to Cy Schwieterman Inc., with an awarded amount of $320,919.60.** The Montgomery Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will be accepting bids from contractors for the cons truction of the Clay Township Northeast Group Drainage Project located in Sections 1, 12, and 13 of Clay Township, in Sections 6 and 7 of the City of Clayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. This project will include installation of 775 of 24", 1,325' of 18", 1,131' of 15", of 100' of 12" subsurface drainage pipe and installation of 750' smooth interior watertight storm pipes with 24" by 36" concrete drop boxes. This will include several connections to the existing drainage that will provide them with an enhanced outlet. Said bids shall be on the Unit Price Basis and shall be in writing on Bid Proposal Forms furnished by the MSWCD. Pursuant to Section 153.54, et seq., of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC), the Bidder shall submit a BID GUARANTY form of either: A bond, certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank for 10% of the bid, conditioned that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder after the awarding or the recommendation for awarding the contract, will enter into and faithfully perform a proper contract based upon the bid: and indemnify the Joint Board against all damage suffered by failure to perform the contract by supplying a performance bond in accordance with Section 153.54, et seq. of the Ohio Revised Code for the FULL AMOUNT OF THE CONTRACT. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each bid proposal shall contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder shall submit evidence of their experiences on projects of similar size and complexity and submit three (3) references of work done on similar types of construction. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than May 27th, 2025. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to an extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 8409 shall be required. Bidders shall comply with the prevailing wage rates of Public Improvements in Montgomery County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
