Project Title and Summary: OLD TOWN SIDEWALK CONNECTIVITY PROJECT - PHASE II, Project CC25-091 (the "Project"). The Project includes the following scope of work along nine road segments located in historic Old Town Victorville. The Work will include construction of portland cement concrete curb and gutter, spandrels, sidewalks, drive approaches, walks, driveways, retaining walls, steps, and ADA accessible curb ramps. The Work will further include associated temporary traffic control, demolition and disposal of infrastructure, earthwork, subgrade preparation, asphalt concrete pavement repair, meter box relocation, metal hand railing, mailboxes, and BMPs. All questions, other than those asked at the pre-bid meeting and not specifically addressed within the Contract Documents, must be submitted in writing to cmcalderon@victorvilleca.gov. Questions will not be accepted after 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The Design Engineer has calculated an estimate of probable construction costs for this project. The City does not wish to publicize the engineer's estimate of the project cost since this information may tend to influence the number and nature of bids received. However, for the bidder's convenience, the City will publicize that the engineer's estimate for the base bid falls within a range of $675,000.00 TO $725,000.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
