The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is soliciting submissions from Landscape Architectural Firms to be prequalified to provide professional services on an "as needed" basis for various site improvement projects which may include but are not limited to the preparation of Landscape Master Plans, detailed design drawings and contract documents. The intent is to select firms to provide services on a project by project basis based on the scope of work. A large portion of the scope will be renewal projects to revitalize and renew aged site components (such as but not limited to playgrounds, parking lots, hard surface play areas, retaining walls). Firms interested in submitting a proposal shall be qualified to provide professional landscape architectural services in accordance with Provincial Regulations (OALA), and have a thorough working knowledge of school design, the Ontario Building Code, City of Toronto standards and guidelines, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), related standards and local regulations. Responses are requested only from firms that have the capacity to perform work on tight timelines and the proposed type of professional services is within their area of expertise. The Board will not conduct business with any supplier currently engaged in litigation against the Board. Term of contract will be a (3) three year term with options to extend for three (3) additional twelve month extension options. There may be an annual refresh at the discretion of the TDSB.
