Site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a residential development in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a residential development; for the construction of a residential development; for the renovation of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
New Residence Hall 1 The new residence hall will accommodate approximately six hundred beds, made up of single and double rooms, and include both interior and exterior amenities. A dining facility space is not anticipated to be part of this project, however there may be opportunities for smaller scale shell space for an outside vendor, such as a café. The project schedule is full occupancy by August 1st, 2028. Participate in the Advanced Planning phase of the project, including evaluating the selected site for the project. Explore strategies to expedite project delivery, including prefabrication, early procurement, and multiple bid packages. The Legal Joint Venture or Partnership Model is where a HUB firm may partner with a large CM or GC. Both firms contribute expertise and resources and share risk and reward according to their respective contribution. Under the Professional Service Model the goal is to provide an opportunity and experience to nonconstruction trade groups, obtaining the engineering, design, and scheduling services necessary for the successful completion of the job.
