Various Locations Pavement Renovation No. 69 The work to be done under this contract consists of traffic routing, sewer work, water work, and paving work along various locations in San Francisco, California, all as shown on the drawings and as specified in these Specifications. Scope of Work: at various locations in Districts 7 & 8 of San Francisco, California and consists of pavement renovation, curb ramp construction, sewer replacement, traffic control, and all related work. Class "A" license is required to bid. Bid discounts may be applied as per Administrative Code Chapter 14B. LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 25%. Sewer Work includes, but not limited to: Mobilization and demobilization work; Performing traffic routing and trench support work related to sewer and drainage work; Constructing 12-inch and 15-inch diameter bell and spigot type extra strength vitrified clay pipe (VCP) on crushed rock bedding wrapped in geotextile fabric; Constructing 36-inch diameter Class IV reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) on crushed rock bedding wrapped in geotextile fabric; Line existing 2'-0" x 3'-0" flat-top reinforced concrete (RC) sewer with cured-inplace liner. Cleaning and mortaring manholes; Constructing cast-in-place or precast concrete manholes and catch basins; Constructing 6-inch or 8-inch diameter side sewer connections; Televising existing active side sewers and culverts; Repair, replacement or construction of 6-inch or 8-inch diameter side sewer and 10-inch diameter VCP culverts; Abandoning, removing, and disposing of existing sewers and related structures, where indicated on contract plans; Post-construction TV inspection of newly lined or constructed main sewers, side sewers, and culverts; Furnishing and installing connections to and between sewers, structures, and culverts; Saw cutting, removing, and disposal of existing pavement; Excavation, backfilling and compaction of trench; Restoring concrete base inside and outside of sewer trench limit as necessary per San Francisco Street Excavation Regulations; Bypassing sewer flow from main sewers, side sewers, and culverts during construction; Paving Work includes, but not limited to: Traffic routing work; Excavating, removing and disposing of existing pavement, concrete base, parking strip, curb and sidewalk; Supporting and working around existing utilities; Handling all drainage or ground water; Removing surplus material; Cleaning project site; Furnishing and placing of backfill material; Constructing 2-inch thick asphalt concrete wearing surface over 8-inch thick concrete base, 10-inch thick concrete bus pad, aggregate base Class II for buspad, 4-inch or 6-inch wide concrete curb, 3-1/2-inch thick concrete sidewalk, concrete curb ramps, doweled concrete median or island, and doweled 6-inch wide concrete curb; Adjusting City-owned manhole frame and cover to grade; Adjusting City-owned catch basin frame and grating to grade; Adjusting City-owned castings to grade; Performing all related and incidental work, all where and as shown on the Drawings and in accordance with the Project Manual.
