Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Cuthbert, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; road / highway; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Representatives of Owner and Architect will be present to discuss the project. Architect will transmit to all prospective bidders of record such Addenda as Architect considers necessary to respond to questions arising at the meeting. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Cuthbert in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid must accompany the Bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. Document Notes : submitting a upon return of documents in good condition within ten days of bid date. Other sets for general contractors, and sets for non bidders, may be obtained with the same deposit, which will be refunded as above, less cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution. Bid Documents may be downloaded in portable document format (PDF) from Online at no cost. Registration is required for downloading of PDF files. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof. All bidders must be licensed under the provisions of Title 36, Official Code of Georgia, annotated, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Architect; the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. The park improvements include: new parking lots, asphalt walking trails, covered picnic pavilions, playground equipment, park building construction/renovation, and other work. This project is expected to be funded all or in party by the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) through State and Local Fiscal Recovery Program.
