Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City is looking to partner with a qualified Contractor to perform the scope of work, which involves the reconstruction of Broadview Avenue from Highway 8 to Prospect Avenue. This work extends an approximate distance of 260m. The work includes the replacement of existing sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water supply system, roadway, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and municipal service connections to the street property line. The anticipated starting date for Stage 1 (Broadview Avenue from Weber St E to Prospect Ave) of this project is June 30, 2025, subject to final municipal, and agency approvals. The sequence of all construction activities shall be subject to the approval of the Owner. The anticipated starting date for Stage 2 of this project is September 17, 2025, subject to final municipal, and agency approvals.
