The roof will be demolished down to the existing metal decking and a new modified bitumen roof will be provided on the existing metal decking. The approximate roof area to be re-roofed is 129,255 SF. See below for the Scope breakdown per building, all the work to be completed per approved specifications and plans Building 1: Re-roof over existing roof deck (Roof Area 129,255 SF): Remove existing built-up roofing and cover Board to top of existing metal decking, and install 3 1/2 POLY-ISO insulation on existing metal deck. Install new multi-ply, modified bitumen roof system over new 1/2 " cover Board. New Coping and parapet flashing. Install a new lightning protection system. Contractor shall be responsible for the repair or replacement, including but not limited to: all surfaces, building elements, fencing, utilities, onsite and offsite elements, sidewalks, grasses, plantings, irrigation and hardscape disturbed by and/or damaged by construction activities. Contractor to remove and/or modify chain link fencing, including adding gate(s) as required for site access. Openings in fence shall be secured at the endo of each workday. Fencing to be restored to equal or better condition upon the completion of the work.
