Orange County, Florida, henceforth referred to as the County is accepting sealed offers for Diesel Fuel Tank Replacement (Y25-173) Question Submission Deadline:February 20, 2025, 5:00pm The Contractor shall provide one (1) 10,000 gallon double wall steel fuel storage tank, UL-2085, and factory fabricated saddle supports. The Contractor shall be a certified Pollutant Storage System Contractor. A. ABOVE-GROUND STORAGE TANK (AST) REMOVAL The Contractor shall: 1. Supply crane for off-loading and setting of all pieces. 2. Provide freight for hauling off old fuel tanks. 3. Notify the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) of the existing tanks removal as required per Chapter 62-762 of the Florida Administrative Code. 4. Disconnect electrical tank sensor wiring and stage on-site to be reused to reconnected to the new AST. 5. Remove grounding cable. 6. Disconnect and blow back into tank existing fuel lines to avoid possible discharge during replacement activities. Fuel lines shall be moved aside or staged on-site to be reused to reconnect to the new AST. 7. Remove up to 10,000 gallons of fuel and store in frac tank. The frac tank shall be provided by the Contractor.
