Site work for a road / highway in Clinton, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

As of March 24, 2025, project is awarded to Amis Lawn and Landscaping, LLC with the amount of $35,359.20. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope as indicated "Landscape Services Proposal." Bids may be mailed or hand-delivered to the Office of the City Clerk at 530 Brighton Park Drive, Clinton, Mississippi 39060. The sealed envelopes shall list the Company Name and Address of Bidder. Envelopes not so marked are submitted at the risk of the Bidder, and the city assumes no responsibility for the premature opening of same by any City employee. The city is NOT responsible for bids mailed to the wrong address or which arrive in the mail after the designated bid opening time. Bids may be delivered in person to the Office of the City Clerk before the bid opening at the time, date, and location listed. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder's Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price payable to the City of Clinton as bid security. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The project will be awarded to the lowest and best bid. The City of Clinton reserves the right to accept or reject any bids or to waive any technicality or informality. The successful Bidder must adhere to the City's policy concerning non-discrimination without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, national origin or disability. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Any clarification the proposer desires regarding this proposal must be submitted in writing. Oral explanations or instructions given before the contract award will not be binding. Any information given to a prospective proposer concerning a solicitation will be furnished to all prospective proposers. Requests for clarification and inspections of the property may be made by contacting: Phillip Lilley, Director of Public Works 525 Springridge Road Clinton, Mississippi 39056 Plilley@clintonms.org (601) 924-2239 This shall be an annual maintenance contract to maintain the plant beds at the I-20 and Springridge Road interchanges. Plant material includes Junipers, Sweetgum trees, little gem magnolia trees, Emerald Green arborvitae, and Pine Oak trees. These beds are to be maintained as hallmark greetings to interstate travelers. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, vehicles, mowers, fuel, insurance, labor, and all other resources required to execute and perform the contract. Services will include Landscape Maintenance, as defined below.
