Renovation of a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Pursuant to and in compliance with the Construction Manager's solicitation letter dated January 27, 2025 and the Contract Documents (capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned thereto in the General Conditions, as defined below) relating hereto, the undersigned (the "Contractor") has submitted a binding offer to furnish the design, all plant, labor, materials, supplies, equipment and all other facilities things, matters and work necessary, proper, or incidental to all work required by and in strict accordance with the applicable provisions of the referenced solicitation documents which include, but are not limited to, the plans, specifications and all of the addenda thereto issued by the Construction Manager and sent to the undersigned by electronic transmission or other appropriate means to the Contractor prior to the date of opening of bids, whether received by the undersigned or not; for the total sum indicated on Appendix A attached hereto in the "Bid Amount" block. These projects are located at the following sites: o PS 85X: 2400 Marion Avenue, Bronx, NY 10458 o PS 86X: 2756 Reservior Avenue, Bronx, NY 10468 Performance Period: 330 Continuous Calendar Days (See Page CC-3 and Appendix B) Liquidated Damages The Contractor shall pay to the SCA as liquidated damages the sum of Five Hundred ($500) Dollars for each and every continuous calendar day that the Work shall not be completed after the above-stated Completion date or any authorized extension thereof. In connection with its Bid, the Contractor provided an appropriate bid bond/certified check, in the amount of five (5%) percent of its Bid Amount. B. Contractor has obtained and agrees to maintain in effect for the Performance Period a Construction Performance Bond on the form attached hereto as Appendix D. C. Contractor has obtained and agrees to maintain in effect for the Performance Period a Labor & Materials Payment Bond on the form attached hereto as Appendix E. The SCA reserves the right to reject any bid if the information required by the SCA is not submitted as required or if the information submitted fails to satisfy the SCA that the Bidder is responsible, or is able or qualified to carry out the obligations of the Contract, or to complete the Work as contemplated. Range: $250001-500000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
