The purpose of this Request is to solicit sealed, separate Bid Proposals to provide services and/or miscellaneous materials to the City of New Albany, Mississippi. Proposers who are selected, and awarded a contract, may provide services and/or materials to carry out City maintenance, repair, and/or construction activities, if the City determines there is a need and elects to utilize the proposer(s) awarded to complete the necessary work, or during times, in which, the City feels there is insufficient time to solicit appropriate quotes/bids, to complete necessary work as a stand-alone project. City services items will include, but are not limited to, asphalt paving services, asphalt surface treatments & micro-surfacing services, cold milling of asphalt & concrete pavement, removal of concrete pavement/walkways, construction of concrete pavement/walkways, miscellaneous materials. The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of New Albany will consider Bid Proposals, for the above mentioned services and/or materials, and the award, if made, will be at the lowest and best value to the government and City of New Albany residents. The contract term for the City Service(s) contracts will be March 5th, 2025 through December 31st, 2025. Any questions regarding the Bid Proposal Form(s) and/or Contract Documents, outlining the Terms & Conditions, shall be submitted in writing to William Denton at wdenton@nalgw.com. The deadline for submitting inquiries is February 19th, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Any questions submitted after the established deadline will not receive a response. All Proposals must be completed and submitted in accordance with the "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS", included in the electronic Bid Packet. The City of New Albany reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, and to make an award in any manner consistent with Mississippi Law, that is deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
