Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bradford, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
GWP 2030-24-00: A new corridor from East of Yonge Street to Highway 404 with a distance of approximately 4.8 km in the Town of East Gwillimbury as the East portion of the overall Bradford Bypass. The project also includes constructing a freeway-to-freeway interchange at Highway 404, and construction of the 2nd Concession and Leslie Street interchanges, Parking lot and other ancillary works. The recommended plan for the Bradford Bypass builds upon the 2002 Approved EA Route, with some alignment modifications at key sections based design optimizations, field investigation results, and stakeholder consultation. Interchanges are recommended at 10 the Sideroad, County Road 4, 2 and Concession Road, and Leslie Street. Freeway-to-Freeway interchanges are also recommended at Highway 400 and 404. TIMELINE: Request for Proposal for Project Management and detailed design has recently been awarded. Designs are underway. Further update early spring 2026. *Per MTOs Southern Highways program, this has been estimated at 1 billion (+/-). *Jacobs Consultancy Canada Inc. & Egis Canada Ltd. have been awarded the program management consultant contract for the full project.
