Société québécoise des infrastructures is issuing a public call for tenders for redevelopment work on the building located at 1935-1955, rue des Cascades, in Saint-Hyacinthe. This building, recently acquired by the Company, is used for office activities and comprises three floors plus a basement fitted out for common areas, including meeting rooms and an employee lounge. With a total gross floor area of around 2,450 m2, the building is part of the Company's strategy to optimize the occupancy of its owned buildings, and the project involves redevelopment work on levels 1 and 2, in line with the company's approach to workplace transformation. The building currently houses the National Bank of Canada (NBC) and the offices of the Centre de services scolaires de Saint-Hyacinthe (CSSSH). The BNC occupies part of the first floor, while the CSSSH uses floors 1 and 2 as well as a shared space in the basement. Built in 1989, the building has undergone several interior modifications since its commissioning. The work required under this call for tenders must be fully completed within 34 weeks (including statutory holidays, construction vacations and the time required for the supply of materials/equipment) from the date stipulated in the contract or upon receipt of written authorization from the Company. The probable start date is between April 1 and May 1, 2025.
