SQI is looking for a Contractor to carry out construction work on various projects in a prison environment, at the Établissement de détention de Québec. - 521960 - Replacement of electrical substations - 522604 - Upgrade of surveillance cameras - 521040 - Addition of a new elevator and new signage - 524175 - Installation of 4 videoconference rooms and 5 visiting rooms - 527702 - Addition of barbed wire perimeter fence - 527377 - Modernization of elevators (9 elevators) Step 1 - Unilateral undertaking of confidentiality and security clearance a) No later than February 18, 2025, the bidder must send the completed and signed Questionnaire for Contractors and Unilateral Undertaking of Confidentiality forms to infosoumission6@sqi.gouv.qc.ca. b) Upon receipt of these two documents within the prescribed deadline, the Sûreté du Québec will conduct an investigation to determine whether bidders who have submitted the Questionnaire for Contractors form meet the required security conditions (security clearance). Step 2 - Submission of plans and specifications (including asbestos logs) c) All bidders meeting the required conditions of confidentiality and security (security clearance) will receive the plans and specifications (including asbestos registers) in electronic version by secure One Drive share transmitted by e-mail. No hard copies of plans and specifications will be given to bidders. Once the bids have been opened, the One Drive share will be removed. The successful bidder will receive a copy of the plans and specifications at a later date. Step 3 - Tender submission d) Following delivery of the plans and specifications, the bidder is authorized to submit his bid in accordance with the provisions of article 9.0 "Receipt of bids" of the Supplementary Instructions. The work required under this call for tenders must be fully completed within 156 weeks (including statutory holidays, construction vacations and the time required to procure materials/equipment) from the date stipulated in the contract or upon receipt of written authorization from the Company.
