This project consists of general repair of two bridges on Route 17 over Lester Avenue, Village of Johnson City and Glenwood Avenue, Town of Dickinson, to extend the useful life of each structure. Broome County. NYSDOT Region: 09 Southern Tier Construction is expected to be completed in Winter 2027/2028. As of October 15, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026. NYDOT : RT 17 Over Lester Ave & Glenwood Ave, Bridge Rehab, Village of Johnson City & Town of Dickinson, Broome County *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
