**As of March 20,2025, project was awarded to HCL Contracting,LLC , awarded amount is $365,312.30.** Resurfacing and Restriping New City Hall Twenty (20) working days are allowed for the construction of the project. All bids must be on blank forms provided in the Specifications. A certified check or a Bidders Bond, payable to the City of Saraland, Saraland, Alabama, for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid, but in no event more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), shall be filed with the proposal, the Bidders Bond being prepared on the form specified and signed by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Alabama. Only bids from qualified contractors licensed as required by the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors will be accepted. A Performance Bond in the form and terms approved by the City in an amount not less than the sum bid will be required at the signing of the contract, and in addition, a bond in form and terms approved by the City in an amount not less than fifty percent (50%) of the contract price insuring payment for all labor and materials. In addition, the Contractor must furnish to the City at the time of the signing of the Contract a certificate of insurance coverage as provided in the specifications which will include comprehensive insurance, Contractors Automobile Liability Insurance, Owners Protective Liability Insurance, and where applicable, Sub-Contractors Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance. The right is reserved to reject any and/or all bids and to waive informalities and to furnish any item of material or work to change the amount of said contract.
