Minimum General Contractor's qualifications to be certified by prospective bidders include: 1) statutory license requirements, 2) bonding capacity of at least $10,000,000, and 3) successful recent history as General Contractor on Demolition Projects of comparable scope and complexity. The Owner will accept bids only from approved General Contractors. The Owner and its representatives shall be the sole judge of the Contractor meeting the requirements set forth. The Owner's decision in determining qualified General Contractors will be final. The Owner reserves the right to act in his best interest in this process and can waive all technicalities and informalities to determine the best responsible General Contractors to participate in bidding this project Bids that are received via mail and not presented at the bid opening are to be considered non-responsive. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that bids are presented at the time of the bid. Contractors must notify the Awarding Authority if a bid is to be received by mail.
