he project consists of installing new boiler plant controls at each of the three boilers (#2, #3, and #4) main controls, control center controls, including sensors, and any other associated equipment necessary to install up to date boiler controls and plant controls. Boiler #2 must be completed first, followed by #3 and then #4. Plan such that only one boiler may be down at a time. Work on boiler #2 can start no earlier than May 1st and must be completed no later than June 15th. Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on "March 7, 2025" and shall be fully complete by "September 12, 2025." Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond duly completed on an acceptable form by a guaranty company authorized to carry on business in the State of Nevada and with an A. M. Best rating of at least A-, in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the sum of the total amount bid, including any options. Said check or bond is to be payable without condition to the Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education as a guaranty that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute the contract in accordance with the Bid, in the manner and form required by the contract documents. The bid security shall be forfeited to the NSHE as liquidated damages in the case of failure or neglect of the bidder to furnish, execute and deliver to the NSHE the required performance and payment bond(s) and evidences of necessary insurance coverage within seven (7) days after receiving the Intent to Award. Bid security or bid bonds submitted with bids will be returned to all unsuccessful bidders upon issuance of the purchase order award.
