Aurora Wastewater Facility Area Lighting Bid The City of Aurora is accepting sealed bids for the replacement of the area pole lighting at the City of Aurora Wastewater Treatment Facility, located at 305 N. If the bidder has any questions concerning the true meaning or intent of the specifications or any of the requirements stated herein, the bidder shall request the specifications interpretation in writing by February 14, 2025 a Description of work to be performed by Contractor: Furnish all material, labor, tools, and equipment, and perform all work necessary to construction specifications: o Remove/replace area pole lighting at the Aurora Wastewater Facility located at 305 N. Hwy. 39, Aurora, MO 65605. Pole lighting converted to LED fixtures and existing 20' poles to be replaced on the existing pole bases and anchor bolts (new 20' steel poles or equivalent) o Utilize all existing electrical unless an upgrade is needed (any electrical upgrades must be approved by the Wastewater Superintendent) o The LED light engine shall meet these requirements over a -40oC (-40F) to +41oC (104F) ambient air temperature range o The LED fixtures shall be a 450-watt equivalent pole mount LED light, and no less than 20,000 lumens o New LED fixtures must be equipped with a dusk-to-dawn (D2D) photocell sensor feature to automatically operate the lighting from dusk to dawn o Contractor shall be responsible for removing all construction debris and clean the site thoroughly of any job-related materials o Provide daily cleanup of job site to prevent blowing materials o The contractor shall comply with the current City of Aurora Municipal Code of Ordinances as well as the International Building Code, 2018 Edition, and the 2017 National Electric Code, as adopted by the City of Aurora
