Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in St Petersburg, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,400-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

The City of St. Petersburg is requestiing quotes from qualified vendors to replace flooring in the Lake Maggiore Environmental Education Center at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. The vendor must remove the existing vinyl flooring, repair the concrete sub-floor, and install extra heavy commercial laminate. Primed solid wood trim must replace the existing vinyl trim. The nature center will be divided into three phases for this project. Demolition, subfloor repair, and installation of new flooring/trim must be completed in each phase before beginning the next phase. This area includes the main exhibit space. All exhibit fixtures will be moved prior to work starting. This bid should include any flooring prep work, demo/ disposal, material cost, and installation. C. Note: As the main entrance into the park, we will work together to create a plan for this project based on projected project length and our needs for keeping the building open. 2. Classrooms A. Approximately 1,600 sq ft. Contractor is responsible for verifying square footage. B. This area includes two classrooms and their attached closets. All moveable fixtures and furniture will be removed prior to work starting. This bid should include any flooring prep work, demo/ disposal, material cost, and installation. C. This area includes five offices, gift shop, hallways, closets, and the front of the Nature Center.
