Sealed bids will be received by the Marsing Joint School District (MJSD) for the replacement of approximately 15,800 sq. feet of Gymnasium Roof located at 800 West Main Street, Marsing, ID 83639. Bids will be accepted from contractors who hold current licenses as public works contractors in the State of Idaho. Marsing Joint School District is seeking qualified roofing contractors to replace the gymnasium roof, which includes the removal and replacement of the existing PVC membrane, repairs, and installations as detailed below. The contractor selected will be required to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project. Install a 60-mil thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membrane, mechanically fastened. Install all necessary TPO accessories to create a watertight roof system. Install a 60-mil TPO wall flashing at all necessary perimeter points. Supply and install a TPO drip edge to all edges of the roof. The project consists of the following major components: o Flashing and Penetrations: Repair or replace all flashing and roof penetrations as required to ensure a watertight installation. o Skylight Infill: Infill existing skylights with metal panels to match existing roof aesthetics. o Insulation and Fill: o Supply and install EPS flute fill in between the ribs of the existing roof structure. o Supply and install 1/2" high-density (H/D) board mechanically fastened to the existing roof. o Roofing System: o Copings: Supply and install 24 gauge coping caps, color to be chosen from the standard color chart. o Warranty: Provide a 20-year No Dollar Limit (NDL) warranty on the completed roofing system.
