Renovation of a fire / police facility in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Fraser Valley Regional District ("FVRD") provides fire protection service throughout eight electoral areas and operates 11 fire halls ranging from rural, single bay buildings to more established halls with expanded apparatus. These paid-on-call halls are staged for service 24 hours a day, year round, and a number of the buildings require upgraded ventilation to improve air quality. The FVRD is seeking Proposals from qualified proponents ("Proponents") to provide and install automated exhaust fan systems at six FVRD fire halls including Boston Bar fire hall I, Chilliwack River Valley fire hall, Columbia Valley fire hall, North Fraser fire halls II and III and Yale fire hall I.
