Renovation of an educational facility in Ahoskie, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project consists generally of the following major items: Removal of the existing 3-ply built-up roofing with modified bitumen cap sheet and insulation and unit skylight assemblies and the installation of new gypsum underlayment, insulation, tapered insulation, coverboard and two-ply modified bitumen roofing membrane, including sheet metal. Total roofing square footage is approximately 85,975 square feet. Hertford County High School, Roof Replacement Project, 1500 1st Street West, Ahoskie, North Carolina. Qualified Minority-Owned Contractors are encouraged to bid. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instruction to Bidders. After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the Bid Form for the performance of the Contract. Hertford County Public Schools reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
