The City of Starke City Commission will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing Asbestos Inspection Services and/or Lead Based Paint inspections services for the RJE Gymnasium which is an 8,700 Square foot Gymnasium located at 1080 Pine Street, Starke, Florida 32091. Vendors may submit proposals for one or both services. Also, questions concerning this request for sealed bids should be sent to andyeaston2@msn.com. The last day for questions is Thursday, February 13, 2025. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit proposals. RFP No. 25A: Scope of Services for Asbestos Inspection: o Inspections shall be performed by NESHAP licensed asbestos inspectors. o Reports should indicate any Asbestos-containing material in accordance with NESHAP requirements located within the interior or exterior of the structures. o If Asbestos-containing material is present, separate prices shall be submitted for abatement with recommendations, Certified Abatement Contractor inspections and clearance testing. o Along with your quote, include copies of appropriate certifications to test for the presence of asbestos or certification as an asbestos consultant or asbestos contractor. RFP No. 25B: Scope of Services for Lead Based Paint Inspection o Inspections shall be performed by EPA licensed lead-based paint inspectors. o Reports should indicate any lead-based paint located within the interior or exterior of the structure. o If lead-based paint is present, separate prices shall be submitted for risk assessments with recommendations, Certified Abatement Contractor inspections and clearance testing. The prices quoted shall include a base price (including time and travel for all services) and unit prices for risk assessment, abatement inspections and clearance testing. o Along with your quote, please include your current HUD Certifications for Inspection, Risk Assessment, Abatement Contractor and Clearance Testing. The Vendor will be required to perform lead-ba sed paint and/or asbestos inspection services. The facility to be inspected is the RJE Renaissance Center Gymnasium that is located at 1080 North Pine Street, Starke, Florida 32091. The Gymnasium is approximately 8.700 square feet of enclosed (under roof) space.
