Escambia County's Information Technology Department is seeking quotes for support, service, and maintenance for our Community Center/Community Parks public WIFI. Escambia County began providing Community Public WIFI in December 2020. The County needs annual maintenance support and services for the hardware installed in each community center and park locations. Question Deadline 02/07/2025 at 5:00 PM CT Information Technology is needing a vendor to provide in person hardware support for Cambium access points, this may include unmounting and remounting replacement Cambium access points from the side of a building (Cambium replacement is provided by the County), repairing or replacing any part of the ethernet cable connecting the access point to the customer POE switch, and verifying that the Cambium access point is operational in the Cambium Networks support portal after the repairs are completed. Repairs are to be done during normal business hours - Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm. We will need an email/phone contact person to report an issue, and the response will need to be within 24 business hours. The awarded vendor will be required to go to all County Community Centers and Parks with access points. A 10ft ladder should reach all access points. We are requesting hourly charges which would be on an as needed basis for repairs.
