Site work for a water / sewer project in Mayville, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Bids will be received for Contract No. 1 - Water Main Replacement. Work under this contract generally consists of approximately 26,000 feet of 8-inch, 6-inch, and 3-inch water main replacement, including all necessary appurtenances, water services, fire hydrants, and restoration. Budget: $8,000,000.00 Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such license as required by State statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that have been barred from competing on public works under General Municipal Law 5A-103-b. Bids will not be accepted from Bidder's determined to be NonResponsive by the New York State Office of General Services. This Project is a "Covered Project" under New York State Labor Law 220-I and the Bidder must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor to submit a bid and at all times for the duration of the Work Purchases made by the Village of Mayville are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax. Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials. Exemption certificates will be executed upon request. The Village of Mayville strongly encourages Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises and Section 3 Firms to submit a bid. The Owner's right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents. This contract will be funded wholly or partially with federal funds, and as such, is subject to all federal rules and regulations pertinent thereto, including, but not limited to, federal policy of encouraging the participation ofminority and women business enterprises as sources ofsuppliers, equipment, construction and services. All bidders please be advised that this project may be funded entirely or at least in part from a Federal assistance agreement between EPA and the Village ofMayville. In accordance with State, local or tribal laws and regulation as well as Federal laws and Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG) - 2 CFR Part 200 (i.e. procurement standards), 40 CFR Part 33 and/or 40 U.S.C. Part 1101 et seq., all bidders shall acknowledge the federal requirements and provisions for construction contracts including, but not limited to: the DavisBacon Act; EPA's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program; Build America, Buy America (BABAA) Act; and American Iron and Steel (AIS) Act.
