The Construction Manager is responsible for the successful, timely, and economical completion of the construction project. The project will provide improved facilities which meet Orange County Public School's Design Guidelines. Major elements of the project include: 1. Classroom building addition to increase permanent student capacity to 3240 (3410 student stations), which may include laboratory spaces, resource rooms, and planning areas, in addition to general classroom spaces. The building addition will be connected to the existing campus systems. If deemed beneficial to the overall operation of the school, the project may include repurposing of existing spaces. 2. Site improvements and the central energy plant may need to be modified to accommodate building additions. Temporary facilities may be required to support construction phasing. The school will remain occupied during design and construction. The estimated construction cost is $38,460,000 The OCPS MWBE participation goal for this project is 23%. The OCPS LDB participation goal for this project is 10%. The OCPS VBE goal is 3%.
