Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Florence, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
The Contractor shall adhere to the following minimum specifications, performance requirements and all terms and conditions within this contract. Pinal County is developing phase 2 of the Central Arizona Project (CAP) National Recreational Trail. This segment will go from Park Link Drive to the south end of the Town of Florence, see A-1 SOW Exhibit: Plans and A-2 SOW Exhibit:Environmental Assessment. This segment is approximately 39.5 miles in length (See Figure 1 in A-2 SOW Exhibit: Environmental Assessment). The great majority of the trail will be located on the CAP maintenance road and co-located on other two-track or paved roads. There is the need for construction of approximately 1,450 feet of new trail (See A-1 SOW Exhibit: Plans) and the installation of trail signage (fiberglass trail markers) along the entire trail corridor. Trail signage shall also need to be installed from the existing Nona Road Trailhead to the beginning of this segment at Pecan Road Questions Due Date: Feb 28th 2025, 5:00 PM MST The Central Arizona Project (CAP) Canal Trail Expansion aims to enhance recreational opportunities by developing 39.5 miles of trail and building three new trailheads from Park Link Drive to the southern end of Florence. Most of the trail will follow the existing CAP maintenance road and other paved or two-track roads, with approximately 1,450 feet of new trail construction required. The project includes necessary new trail construction, installing fiberglass trail markers along the entire corridor, including from the Nona Road Trailhead to Pecan Road, to improve wayfinding, updating the management and maintenance plans, and coordinating with third parties to ensure effective development operation and upkeep of the trail segment. This expansion will provide safer and more accessible outdoor recreation for the community.
