The Work consists of the following 1. Furnish all labor, materials and equipment, and perform all work required school shown on the drawings. The work shall be constructed complete and ready for occupancy, except for the items specifically excluded in Work of Other Contracts. 2. Renovate the interior of the school to subdivide several classrooms, install new doors, install a new restroom with shower. 3. Unclassified Excavation: Without regard to the materials encountered, all general excavation shall be unclassified. It shall be distinctly understood that any reference to rock, earth, or any other material on the Plans is not to be taken as an indication of classified excavation or the quantity of rock, earth, or any other material involved. Any material that is encountered within the limits of the required excavation that cannot be removed except by drilling and/or blasting, including rock, boulders, masonry, hard pan, chert, shale, street and sidewalk pavements and/or similar materials, shall be considered as unclassified excavation, and no separate payment will be made. No allowance or extra payments will be made by reason of variation in types of soil encountered or variations in moisture contents. Additional fill material required shall be furnished and included as a part of the work. The bidders must draw their own conclusions as to the conditions to be encountered. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the "CONTRACTOR'S LICENSING ACT OF 1976", and as passed by the 89th General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. Furthermore, the Contractor should have the necessary licensing classifications as listed in Rules of Tennessee Board for Licensing General Contractors-Chapter 0680-1. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the Owner.
