Gwinnett County will be holding ten (10) HHW events from 2025 through 2030 to allow the public to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and other materials that are not accepted curbside. Collection of such materials should be safely disposed of with a minimum impact on the environment. The Department of Water Resources (DWR) organizes Household Hazardous Waste collection events, and the Solid Waste Division organizes recycling events for other materials not generally considered hazardous, but which may include oil-based paints and stains and associated products. Location Gwinnett County Fairgrounds 2405 Sugarloaf Pkwy Lawrenceville, GA 30045 Gwinnett County requires pricing to remain firm for the duration of the initial term ofthe contract. Failure to hold firm pricing for the initial term of the contract will be sufficient cause for Gwinnett County to declare bid non-responsive. Contract to begin May 4, 2025, or upon award. Unless otherwise noted, bid prices will remain firm for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. Gwinnett County reserves the right to add or delete dates, quantities, locations and/or items to be collected as needed. When adding items to be collected, the County will solicit from the contractor a cost bid which the contractor shall develop with costs comparable to similar items under the contract.
