Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.
Upgrades, repairs and major renovations to the owner's aquatic complex including an Olympic-size competition pool, a diving pool with a 10m tower and a recreational pool with a gradual slope. The project is planned in 3 phases: - Phase 1: Modernization of the architectural and electromechanical installations of the pools; - Phase 2: Improvement of the energy performance of the building envelope and electromechanical system, interior redevelopment of the main building, correction of structural deficiencies; - Phase 3: Installation of a thermal loop, landscaping and renovation of the annex buildings of the aquatic complex. TIMELINE: Process of the Request for proposals from architectural professional consulting firms to complete the project design and construction work monitoring has closed. Deposited submissions are under review at the owner. Award is anticipated in late spring 2025. Timelines of further project development will be finalized after a design consultant award. Further update at that time.
