Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Working plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.
Upgrades, repairs and major renovations to the owner's aquatic complex including an Olympic-size competition pool, a diving pool with a 10m tower and a recreational pool with a gradual slope. The project is planned in 3 phases: - Phase 1: Modernization of the architectural and electromechanical installations of the pools; - Phase 2: Improvement of the energy performance of the building envelope and electromechanical system, interior redevelopment of the main building, correction of structural deficiencies; - Phase 3: Installation of a thermal loop, landscaping and renovation of the annex buildings of the aquatic complex. TIMELINE: Working drawings are underway. Project may be implemented by construction packages. Tender for the general contractor/contractor of the first construction phase (package) is anticipated in summer 2026. Note. For implementation of this project the owner has issued a request for expression of interest in order to identify the existence of pool waterproofing membranes offering performance equivalent to that of specialized membranes used in Myrtha pools. The related RoEI is followed in the report under CRM ID name Modernization of the Aquatic Complex Facilities (MICA) at Parc Jean-Drapeau.
