The California Department of Education (CDE) is soliciting bids to provide maintenance, testing, calibration, and as-needed repair services to low voltage, switchboard, circuit breaker, transformer and associated electrical equipment/components at the Diagnostic Center Southern California (DCSC), located at 4339 State University Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90032. Contract Period: May 1, 2025 (or upon DGS Approval) - May 31, 2025 Confirmed DVBE Participation of 5% or more, the DVBE Incentive is 5%. Confirmed DVBE Participation of 4% to 4.99%, the DVBE Incentive is 4%. Confirmed DVBE Participation of 3% to 3.99%, the DVBE Incentive is 3%. The Contractor shall possess a C-10 Electrical License issued by the Contractor's State License Board. Contractor will be fully knowledgeable of and capable of completing work on low voltage electric distribution equipment and systems, sub-systems, including analog and electronic, and digital relays, control wiring, transformers and the repair and maintenance of such. Small Business Preference A five percent (5%) bid preference is available and will be applied in accordance with Attachment 5. The small business preference will be applied to those bidders declaring their eligibility by completing Attachment 5. Site visit description: Note: Bids from Contractors who do not attend, or who are more than 10 minutes late, or who leave the mandatory site inspection early will be rejected and returned unopened.
