Renovation of an educational facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Removal and replacement of the fiberglass shower units with an alternative shower system in the resident rooms. The total count of showers is 660. General Contractors, Prime Plumbing Contractors, and Plumbing Subcontractors are required to prequalify prior to bidding or performing work. UA Master List will not apply to this project, but waiver requests will be allowed. Prequalification submissions must be received by 5:00 PM local time Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Late submittals will not be accepted. New work includes, but is not limited to, demolishing existing showers throughout the building and installing new showers. Work also includes salgaving of existing plumbing fixtures, framing and gypsum board, water proofing and repair of any items damaged during the work.
