Site work for a civil project in Georgetown, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of providing all labor and materials required for the demolition and removal of four (4) structures and concrete pads, associated utility disconnections, groundwater well plugging, septic tank demo, debris haul off, two (2) security gate installations, and other project appurtenances. Estimate: $75,000 Question Deadline 02/15/2025 at 5:00 PM CT All questions and inquiries about the project should be directed to Trae Sutton, PE, CFM; (512) 819-9478, email: TSutton@kpaengineers.com Questions should be in the form of e-mail to TSutton@kpaengineers.com Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified cashier's check, drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, payable to the City of Georgetown in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into. In lieu of cash or a certified check, the Bidder may submit a bid bond in the form prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds, when required, shall be executed on forms furnished by OWNER. Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount by a solvent surety or insurance company licensed to do business in the State of Texas and as specifically prescribed in the General Conditions and Supplemental Conditions. Minimum insurance requirements are specified in the General Conditions and Supplemental Conditions. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors shall pay to laborers, workmen, and mechanics the prevailing wage rates as required by the Supplemental Conditions The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive minor technicalities, and to award a contract or contracts which, in the opinion of the Owner, appear to be in its best interest. A minor technicality is one that does not affect the competitiveness of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to hold any or all proposals for the period of time from the opening of bids as specified in Section 00300, Bid Form. Effective January 1, 2016, Texas Government Code Section 2252.908 requires persons who enter into contract with a government entity to submit a disclosure of interested parties (Form 1295) to the governmental entity or state agency at the time the business entity submits the signed contract to the governmental entity or state agency. The law applies only to a contract of a governmental entity or state agency that either (1) requires an action or vote by the governing body of the entity or agency before the contract may be signed or (2) has a value of at least $1 million ** Bid date info : Bids must be submitted on the complete project. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to City of Georgetown, ATTN: Buyer, P.O. Box 409, Georgetown, Texas 78627 and the outside of the envelope must be marked 4111 SE Inner Loop Structure Demolition & Project Site Clean Up.
