The Ririe Joint School District is seeking proposals from qualified architectural firms for the design and construction of a new Agricultural (Ag) Building at Ririe Jr/Sr High School. This facility will support the district's agricultural education program, providing space for hands-on learning, lab activities, and agricultural-related classes and projects. The district is looking for an experienced architectural firm to deliver creative, functional, and sustainable design solutions that reflect the unique needs of an agricultural learning environment. Scope of Services The selected architectural firm will be expected to provide a full range of services for this project, including but not limited to: . Site analysis and assessment of the proposed building location . Development of design concepts and schematic designs . Final design development, including floor plans, elevations, and renderings . Coordination with engineering, environmental, and other relevant consultants . Preparation of construction documents (plans, specifications, etc.) . Assistance with bidding and contractor selection . Construction administration, including site visits and progress oversight . Post-construction services (if applicable) 3. Project Goals The new Agricultural Building must meet the following objectives: . Provide flexible spaces for agricultural classrooms, labs, and workshops . Include specialized spaces for equipment storage, agricultural machinery, and a woodshop . Design with sustainability in mind, utilizing energy-efficient systems and materials where feasible . Foster a hands-on learning environment that supports the school's agricultural education curriculum . Incorporate safety features in design and construction, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations . Engage the local community and stakeholders in the design process to meet the school's needs 4. Proposal Requirements Please include the following items in your proposal: . Firm Overview: A description of your firm, including years in business, relevant experience, and areas of expertise. . Project Team: Identify key team members who will be involved in the project, including their qualifications and experience in similar projects. . Relevant Project Experience: Provide examples of past agricultural or educational facility projects, particularly those with similar scope or size. Include client references . Approach and Methodology: Outline your approach to designing the Ag building, focusing on how you will incorporate the district's educational goals and community needs. . Proposed Timeline: Provide a proposed schedule for the project, including design, permitting, and construction phases. . Fee Proposal: Include a detailed breakdown of your firm's fees, including costs for design, construction administration, and any additional fees that may apply. . Sustainability Considerations: Describe how your firm integrates sustainable design elements, such as energy-efficient technologies, sustainable materials, and water conservation. 5. Evaluation Criteria Proposals will be evaluated based on: . Qualifications and experience of the firm and project team . Experience with agricultural or educational facilities . Design approach and alignment with the district's objectives for the agricultural program . Ability to meet the project timeline and deliver on schedule (looking to develop as soon as possible) . Fee structure .
