The City of Belpre intends to contract professional engineering and Architectural Services in connection with Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Project. The specific type of sewer improvements include but are not limited to wastewater treatment plant renovations / improvements. The consultant(s) shall be familiar with the City of Belpre's rules and regulations for sewer utility. It is the intent of the City to solicit statements of qualifications from firms interested in providing bid document preparation, public bid assistance, construction administration, and field oversight services. Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firmas history; education and experience of owners and key technical personnel; technical expertise of the firmas current staff; experience in designing similar projects; proximity to project site; availability of staff; the firmas equipment and facilities; references, and any previous work performed for the City of Belpre. Upon receipt of statements of qualifications, it is the intent of the City to prepare a list of prequalified firms to provide construction engineering services that are familiar with State and Federal compliance rules and regulations. Evaluation of firms for inclusion on the prequalified list and notification and evaluation of prequalified firms for specific projects will be as required by Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.67-71. Belpre will enter into contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm(s) for the project. Firms interested in submitting qualifications should provide their statements by deadline. The City reserves the right to reject all RFQs or utilize the selected engineering and/or architectural firm or firms for providing services for any or all portions of the projects. Thus, the selected engineering firm or firms will be required to comply with the regulations issued by the applicable State and Federal agencies relative thereto. The selected candidate or candidates will be required to comply with Appendix II to 2 CFR Part 200.
