The scope of work includes completion of all related site work, general construction and modifications for the site upgrade in full accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Work shall include all labor, materials, and equipment to complete grading, utility adjustments, asphalt and concrete paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks, stormwater structures and piping, seeding and mulching, erosion control and all appurtenances for a complete project. Bids shall be submitted with the understanding that the Town of Bladenboro may choose a contractor that is best qualified and is determined to be the most feasible selection to coordinate the proposed work with ongoing downtown development. The Owner reserves the right to award the project based on the Base Bid amount or any combination of the Base Bid and Alternates. Award may be made as a whole or as separate contracts for separate scheduling. A Bid, Performance, and Payment Bond is required with the submittal of your formal Bid Proposal.
