Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

As of February 24, 2025, award not expected until April 2025. This project requires 24% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0.035. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on April 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Phase II engineering services are required for Flossmoor Road and 183rd Street bridge structures over I-57. The Consultant's work is expected to consist of preparing contract plans, specifications, and estimates for bridge deck replacement of Flossmoor Road bridge and bridge replacement for 183rd Street over I-57. The Consultant's work may include supplemental topographic survey, and geotechnical work, as well as all other tasks as determined by the department. The completion date for this contract will be 24 months after authorization to proceed. Statements of Interest, including resumes of only the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS)..
