This project may contain Federal Funds. This project requires a 27% DBE Participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all subconsultants who the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on April 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Region Five/District Nine Office in Carbondale. Phase III engineering services are required to provide construction supervision, inspection, engineering layout, record maintenance and Quality Assurance (QA) testing for hot mix asphalt (HMA), Portland cement concrete (PCC), soils, aggregate, pipe and precast culverts and other miscellaneous materials. This work is anticipated to consist of lane additions, bridge work, barrier wall, drainage structures, earth excavation and resurfacing of the existing lanes.
