Site work and paving for a civil project in Clinton, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project is comprised of work at different locations throughout the City of Clinton. The project documents are broken into volumes to organize the work under this contract as follows: o Volume 1 - Specifications Divisions 00 through 33 o Volume 2 - Clinton Sewer Improvements o Volume 3 - Clinton Water Improvements The Project consists of but is not limited to: 1. Volume 2 - Clinton Sewer Improvements a. Removing or abandoning approximately 2540 LF of Sanitary Sewer Line that will be impacted by the upcoming roadway reconstruction project by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. b. Installing approximately 2674 LF of new PVC SDR 26 and DR 35 Sanitary Sewer line. c. Installing Steel encasement for protection of new utilities. d. Installing new Polymer Concrete Structures for longer design life. e. Site restoration along project alignments. 2. Volume 3 - Clinton Water Improvements a. Abandoning existing water lines in conflict with new roadway reconstruction project. b. Installing approximately 2081 LF of new Ductile Iron Pipe water line, fire hydrants, and fittings. c. Installing steel encasement for protection of new utilities. d. Site restoration along project alignments. As shown on the plans and indicated in the specifications. Debarment, Suspension, Ineligibility, and Voluntary Exclusion 5. Requirements for Drug-free Workplace Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the Owner, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract to him. Such bid guarantee shall be made payable to CITY OF CLINTON. The successful bidder must furnish a performance, payment, and maintenance bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Oklahoma to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. Bids must remain in effect for 60 days after the bid opening date. Within 60 days from the bid date, the Owner may award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder or reject any or all bids for the project. The CITY OF CLINTON reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interests of the CITY OF CLINTON, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids.
