Shoal Creek - MoPac/Steck Water Quality Ponds Retrofit The main objective of this investigation is to determine the subsurface conditions in the project site, evaluate the engineering characteristics of the subsurface materials, and to provide general recommendations for the proposed project. The scope of services for this project is outlined as follows: 1. Explore the subsurface conditions at the site by drilling 5 borings, obtaining soil samples, and determining the presence of groundwater. 2. Evaluate pertinent engineering properties of the subsurface materials 3. Recommend effective embankment and earthwork solutions. Engineering recommendations provided in this report are based on the information provided by the client and subsurface conditions encountered in our borings. If any of the information stated in this report is incorrect, please inform TSIT in writing, so that the report can be amended accordingly, if appropriate. The Work consists of retrofitting an existing non-functioning storm water control measure system to maximize the functionality of existing infrastructure for watershed benefits. This includes excavation, grading, installation of a new liner system, revegetation, and planting, structural inlet and outlet systems, as well as all associated appurtenances and labor. The ponds identified for this project are located along the northbound service road of Mopac between Steck and W. Anderson Lane.
