Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tanner, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and municipal facility.

The project shall consist of installing new asphalt shingle roofing, on20 Duplex buildings & 1 Community Building, at the existing at the existing Housing Development located at 11476 Caroline Drive, Tanner, AL35671 ; AND 15 Duplex buildings& 1 Office Building located at 179Hidden Springs Loop, Valley Head, AL 35989. Only Contractors who are properly licensed in accordance with criteria established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors un- der Provision of Title 34, Chapter 8,Code of Alabama, 1975, as amend- ed, will be considered for bidding the work. All bidders shall show such evidence by clearly display- ing their current license number onthe outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. And a Copy of the Bidders License must be included with their bid pa- per work. Licensing required by lo- cal municipalities shall be obtained prior to the execution of the con- struction contract. A certified check or Bid Bond pay- able to the Housing Authority in an amount not less than five percent(5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany the bidders proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at the signing of the Contract and the costs of the bonds shall be included in the Contractors Proposal. For a guaranteed response, all Inquires must be made no later than 3 days prior to scheduled bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
