The Scope of Work to be performed under this project consists of furnishing of all labor/materials and performing all work necessary for the completion of the chiller replacement at Oak Grove Middle School. Replacement of two (2) air-cooled chillers Removal of two (2) existing air-cooled chillers (turn over to owner for repurposing) and associated piping back to shutoff valve indicated Extend existing concrete pad and install two (2) new air-cooled chillers (owner furnished) extend associated piping from shutoff valve and provide new accessories as required Reuse existing control points and replace control accessories as required Replacement of two (2) associated primary chiller-loop pumps Removal of two (2) existing pump/motor assemblies and piping/appurtenances back to disconnect points, PCHP-1 shall be turned over to owner as a spare Furnish and install two (2) new pump/motor assemblies and piping/appurtenances as indicated on plans Replacement of one (1) associated secondary chiller-loop pump Removal of one (1) existing pump/motor assembly and piping/appurtenances back to disconnect points Furnish and install one (1) new pump/motor assembly and piping/appurtenances as indicated on plans Furnish and install mini split AC system. All work described in this bid document and drawings prepared by Osborn Engineering. The length of the contract shall be for 180 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. This includes the installation and the ordering of the materials and products specified herein. This time stipulation is very explicit and is essential to the completion of the work specified. For the purposes of calculating the amount of a protest bond, this contract is valued at approximately 180,000.00, excluding renewal options. This is only an estimate and the actual amount could vary up or down. The District will not be held responsible if actual purchases are less than this amount.
