Renovation of a municipal facility in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of August 29, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on October 2025.** Renovation and upfit of interiors on the first floor of the Forsyth County Department of Social Services (DSS) Building. The scope consists of the following: An interior refresh by painting of walls, removal of existing floor finishes, replacing with new finishes, and removal of ceiling tile and grid system and replacement with a new system, at the lobby, interior offices and existing shell space. Electrical work is the removal and re-placement of existing ceiling mounted lay-in lighting fixtures and electrical outlets. Provide a new HVAC system at an exiting shell space that is to be up-fit. Instructions for submitting bids may be obtained during normal business hours by contacting Catherine Knisley at catherinek@cityofws.org (preferred) or 336-747-6939. The M/WBE subcontracting goals for this project are 10% MBE and WBE cumulatively. No oral interpretation will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents or any part thereof. Every request forsuch an interpretation shall be made in writing. To allow for site visit, new question cut off for scope of work/plans/specs will be August 13, 2025 at 5:00 PM
