the following improvement project: W. High Street Water Main Replacement Project The project site is located along W. High Street within the corporation limits. Project limits are from the intersection of W. High Street and N. Main Street to the western most entrance into the Village Park. The bid is to furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, machinery, warranties, and all other items required to replace approximately 1,050 feet of 6" water main along with all associated valves, fire hydrant, and service reconnections according to the contract documents. Bids will be received for a combined bid for the full contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening. Each bid must include a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or security company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code and made payable to Village of Jeffersonville. If a bid security in the amount of 10% of the full bid amount is submitted with the bid, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and labor and material bond from an acceptable surety in the amount of 100% of the full contract amount in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. If a bid guaranty bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid is submitted with the bid, no additional performance and labor and material bond will be required. Contractors and subcontractors can view and download information free of charge. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Village of Jeffersonville, ATTN: Stephanie Stewart, Village Administrator, 8 N. Main Street Jeffersonville, Ohio 43128 and plainly marked on the outside "W. HIGH STREET WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT". All provisions of the Ohio Revised Code as it relates to bid guaranty's conditions, liabilities, and withdrawal of a bid are applicable to this contract. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable. The owner also reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The bids shall be made on the forms provided therefore in the contract documents, or a copy thereof, with a price quoted for work. The Engineer's estimate is $149,750.00.
