Manually Operated Butterfly ValvesThe Cincinnati Water Works, to permit uniform manufacture, installation, and maintenance of butterfly valves, has adopted the following specification for manually operated rubber-seated butterfly valves. This specification has been adapted from the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standard C-504 with changes and modifications designed to meet the requirements of the Cincinnati Water Works. When using this specification, the Water Works will: 1) provide supplemental information and detailing on configuration of the valves to be supplied; 2) include a questionnaire to be completed by the supplier and will: 3) require certain pre-manufacture, pre-delivery, and postdelivery data. At the sole discretion of the City the contract may be renewed for two (2) additional (12) twelvemonth periods ending May 31, 2028.
