Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lawrence, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The VAN BUREN INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT is soliciting competitive bids for the removal and disposal of the existing flooring material and installation of new carpet and LVP located at the following locations: Bert Goens Learning Center - 705 South Paw Paw Street, Lawrence, MI 49064 Conference Center - 490 South Paw Paw Street, Lawrence, MI 49064 Community-based Transition Center -811 Hazen Street, Paw Paw, MI, 49079 Maple Creek Education Center - 30 S. Walnut Street, Bangor, MI 49013 Van Buren Tech Construction Trades Building - 250 South Street, Lawrence, MI 49064 The project must start no earlier than June 16, 2025, and must be completed on or before August 16, 2025. All bids must include a Bid Security for five percent (5%) of the bid amount, including alternates, payable to the Van Buren Intermediate School District (VBISD), in either the form of a certified bank check or bid bond. If awarded the Contract, the awarded bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Bid quotes are guaranteed for 90 calendar days. The Van Buren Intermediate School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities which it deems to be in the best interest of Van Buren Intermediate School District, and the right to award the contract to other than lowest bidder. The project must start no earlier than June 16, 2025, and must be completed on or before August 16, 2025.
