Refer to the Request for Proposal documents (found in the Attachments tab) for full project details/requirements. Respondents are prohibited from contacting the identified department about this RFP while in process. Remember to submit your response, including attachments, early to allow time to correct errors. The submission deadline is a hard close. The system will reject responses with errors and will NOT allow late submissions. Boynton Health is located on the East Bank in the heart of the medical campus and is an important part of medical services offered at the University of Minnesota. Uniquely, it operates as an independent entity. Therefore, Energy Management, Facilities Management, the Office of Information Technology, etc. do not formally provide services to Boynton. This has caused the facility staff to oversee a full range of services including renovations, maintenance and repairs. Ultimately, this has been a good decision as the building has been very well maintained and continues to perform at a high level. While this study identifies a total of $15,000,000 of potential corrective items, it is the design teams recommendation that work be undertaken only "as-needed". It is highly likely that much of this work will not be required during Boynton's remaining life. Major facility investments should be carefully considered and strategically planned. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
