Site work for a water / sewer project in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project is located in Old Hickory, TN on the west bank of Old Hickory Lock and Dam. The approximate Geographic location is 36.29164, -86.66120. The work includes rehabilitating and improving an existing toe drain system constructed in 2009 along left descending (west) embankment of Old Hickory Dam. Project will involve removing the existing single walled corrugated HDPE pipe network and replacing dual walled slotted PVC for the filter section and a non-slotted dual walled PVC for the outlet pipes. The longitudinal toe drainpipe will be encased in a two-phase granular filtration system to facilitate routing of seepage into the new pipe network. The filter section will be topped with riprap. Venting will be included with the pipes to facilitate more expeditious drainage as well as the construction of new drainage swales to help isolate seepage from surface drainage. The aforementioned also includes precast manholes, catch basins, cast-in-place end treatments, and incidental related work. But not limited to please review the specifications for more information.
